First outside border

first border finished and sewn on.  Yeah, I have the second marked and fabric chosen.

  8. thank you all for your kind comments. If you look closely I changed one of the flower patterns on the border. The "little hands" just aren't my thing, so I drew my own design. It's not much different, but it's different. Worked for me, sometimes you just have to think outside the box.

  11. Beautiful border Paula! I really like the changed flower. It looks a bit easier to sew and lets the beautiful fabrics show off a bit more?
    I'm stalled on mine, waiting for cooler weather to get back working on it.
